Look over Castle Stalker from nearby visitor centre in Appin.
For those of a more serious walking persuasion, nearby Glencoe. Can't wait for the weather to improve and get back up there.
There are plenty of local family walks and some just a little further afield - Glencoe, Lochan. About 25 minutes drive, ample parking and stunning background.
Hire a bike from Port Appin or bring your own. Take the ferry from Port Appin to Lismore Island and explore - see Castle Coeffin.
Visit Scotland Quality Assurance assessment carried out today in lovely weather. Today's views below. We've been graded 3 Star, very happy with that.
Expecting Visit Scotland to come in 2 weeks time to carry out a grading on our cottages, so doing a few preparations. Even though it's cold, still stunning views, especially with the snow topped mountains.

Today we've had electricians in to install new ovens, hobs and hoods into each cottages. Looking quite smart I think.
