Well we're getting back to operating after the trials of the last 15 months. In March 2020 we prepared for a grading visit from Visit Scotland which we had to cancel after getting Covid19. Then the lockdown, re-opening in July 2020, with many of our guests that had booked for April, May and June 2020, [...]
We have been busy with some refurbishments between Oct 19 and Mar 20. Both cottages have been redecorated throughout. Both kitchens have new worktops, new sinks & taps. Both bathrooms have been upgraded. All carpets on the upper floors have been replaced with additional underlay. Plus a few other minor upgrades. We hope our guests [...]
As per what ScotGovt have advised last week, we are planning on re-opening from 18th July 2020. We have been in touch with guests who still have bookings with us. We are accepting bookings again with deposits, they will be confirmed once the ScotGovt formally announce that the Scottish tourism industry can re-open as planned. [...]

One of the family members had a significant birthday to celebrate and 10 of us stay in Heather and Fern during the week 6-12 April, a bit of a party but also day visits/activities around local area. A series of pictures to follow.
A quick visit overnight to the cottages, to accept delivery of new sofa and sofa bed now in Fern cottage. The same style as that in Heather just a different colour.
